Privacy Policy

Our commitments regarding data security and Google API compliance.

1. Data Collection and Usage

Dublio collects the minimum amount of data necessary for the service to function:

  • Identity Information: Basic profile information (Name, Email, Avatar) obtained from login providers (Google, Discord). This information is used only to identify you and create your profile.
  • Project Metadata: Names, line texts, and file structures of the projects you create are stored in our database.
  • Transaction Logs: IP address and transaction history are recorded for security and debugging purposes.

2. Google Drive and User Data

Dublio operates on a "Distributed Architecture" principle. This means large files (audio, video) are not hosted on our servers, but stored in your own Google Drive space.

Google API Limited Use Compliance

Dublio's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

The drive.file permission we request only allows us to access files created by Dublio or explicitly selected by you. We can never access or read other photos, documents, or personal data in your Drive.

3. Ephemeral Processing

For heavy tasks like audio analysis and video processing, your files are temporarily transferred to Google Colab environments. During this process, files are processed with the "Hot Potato" principle:

  • The file is processed (e.g., converted to audio).
  • The result (metadata) is saved to the database, and the output file is saved back to your Drive.
  • The moment the process ends, all data in the temporary processing environment is permanently deleted. No raw audio/video files are stored on Dublio servers.

4. Data Security and Retention

Your sensitive data (e.g., Google Drive Refresh Tokens) is stored in our database with industry-standard AES-256 encryption. These keys are kept in an isolated environment separate from the database. We never sell your data to advertisers.

5. User Rights and Deletion

You can delete your account at any time. When you delete your account:

  • All your personal data and access tokens in the Dublio database are instantly deleted.
  • Files you created in your own Google Drive are not deleted (as they belong to you), but Dublio's access to them is revoked.
  • You can contact us for data deletion requests.
